As a part of a team, we work on designing and creating a system for Finger rehabilitation using Soft Robotics under Prof. Rui Li. As a 3D printing engineer, my role is to design soft actuators, find new materials that work for our purpose, and print them. I also work on the electronics side by determining which components would be more efficient and wiring them in an aesthetically pleasing manner. I have also recently started contributing to the automation part by working on the code and moving the system to Python.
