Nithin was one of the brains behind starting a multi-million product. He was at the forefront of the project from the inception stage/ hackathon phase. He lead the project playing multiple roles like UI architect, Devops, product owner. We closely collaborated as product owners. I was impressed by his indepth understanding of requirements and attention to details, during our daily discussions for requirements elaboration. His code also exhibits the same characteristics.

Here I have been working to replace a legacy sales platform of SKIDATA with a scalable, practical solution for the market. The product can now be used to sell parking, ski, and event solutions for SKIDATA customers. Starting with the role of a technical manager, I have performed the roles of scrum master, developer, and now the component owner. I have been one of the few people working on the idea from day 1 to market realization of the product from presenting the idea at Hackathon 2016, hiring the team and now delivering the solution. The solution is a dockerized micro-services based architecture originally written in Java, spring boot tech stack on the backend with angular 1.5.x frontend solution. The tech stack includes - Language: Java, Kotlin (for backend - not android!), Javascript (AngularJS - 1.5.x) Auth: Spring OAuth - JWT authentication based on spring OAuth Storage: Spring data rest - storage supported by spring data rest for postgres, cassandra and mongodb Cloud: Zuul based gateway and hysterix based circuit breaker with support from Spring cloud Deployment: Docker, Rancher Tools: Git, Jenkins, Maven, nginx

This experience of mine is my goto example of Python being used for backend enterprise systems. Financial companies, banks do use Python for not only trade, risk management but also as a glue language between different systems. Worked on Quartz systems for whole loan trades, sandra db (proprietary globally distributed NoSQL columnar db with dependency graph), ZMQ (for light-weight messaging), Hugs (linux farm distribution grid). Worked on Quartz based application to report trades, PnL, EOD positions and tranching for WL for MBS securities.
