  New York, United States Co-run the IAG student endowment long-only equity portfolio utilizing a value investment strategy. Manage approximately 20 analysts who collectively pitch investment ideas to be added to the portfolio. Co-lead analyst training where we teach a select group of qualified Stern freshmen about value investment philosophy, intrinsic modeling, relative valuation, competitive analysis, and thesis generation. Training consists of 40+ in class workshop hours taught over the course of 10-12 weeks.

Focused primarily on understanding the management's historical capital allocation and the factors that drive consumer purchasing decisions. Spoke with the regional franchise manager for one of Joyce's subsidiaries and Dan Madden, the CEO of Joyce, to better understand capital allocation philosophy and long-term growth plans. Pitched a long on 3U Holding, a small-cap holding company that specializes in telecommunications infrastructure, HVAC ecommerce, and renewable energy. Focused on evaluating the net asset value of 3U various companies and evaluated future avenues for growth in the ecommerce business. Spoke with investor relations and management to better understand growth strategies, specifically their M&A rollup strategy for their ecommerce segment.

  Chicago, Illinois, United States Worked as a private equity intern to diligence and negotiate an acquisition of a behavioral health services company from the search stage to the purchase agreement. Responsibilities included LBO modeling, writing a CIM to convince investors to fund the acquisition, analyzing debt term sheets, and industry growth analysis. During the diligence process of the health services company, helped source and diligence a US logistics company and analyzed the radiology industry.
