I worked in Jubilant FoodWorks Limited (JFL) under the guidance of Legal head, Mr. Mitul Ghatak for period of six months as a management trainee. The company had given me an immense exposure of contract management on PAN India basis & opportunity to represent JFL in consumer matters. Also, I assisted my seniors in due diligence & titles searches. Drafting of termination notices, legal notices, reply to demand notice by landlords or consumers, cease & desist notice, recovery notices, suit for permanent injunction under O.7 R1 of CPC and reply against consumer complaints under Consumer Protection Act were some important tasks assigned to me during my tenure.Addition to it, I also undertook certain researched assignments on the laws involving food laws like Food safety & standard Act, 2006, dispute resolution laws like Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 & 2015 and Intellectual Property laws i.e. Trademark Act 1999, copyright laws (IRRS, ISRA & PPL).
