Nishita worked for me in 2013 - 2014 when was I was Head of Portfolio Risk for RSA Group and she was working in the data analytics team which was part of RSA Indian Actuarial. Nishita was pivotal in the development and implementation of the data analytic tool we introduced to provide Insurance Risk Oversight of our insurance businesses globally. This was demonstrated in her contribution to the design interpreting my initial thoughts into a working tool we could use with the business, suggesting ways to make it more effective, whilst also coding both the tool in Excel VBA along with the data gathering from key stakeholders in the local businesses which was from an online questionnaire. What was key to the success of the project was collating all the data and staking submissions, both scoring against criteria and text based further comments, and converting this into visual KPIs which could be shared with management to show and highlight key findings both strengths and area of weakness for which future management focus was required. All the way through the project Nishita fully committed, ensuring quality and on time delivery of the key tool components. She also conducted user training for the Insurance Risk team members globally who were to roll out the tool in their local business. This all led to the successful launch of the insight tool and it's use to review and challenge management of RSA in may parts of the global business.
