The Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) is proud to endorse the work of thinklink as through this engagement we were able to find an innovative partner who offers holistic support in every aspect of stakeholder management. We brought in thinklink in April 2020, and within a short period of time they developed a local fundraising and engagement strategy and helped open the doors to have conversations with numerous stakeholders which included corporate South Africa, Government Departments and local grant making organisations. This has resulted in us raising funding for our important work to the tune of R30 million+ to date from local partners. Not only was thinklink able to make linkages between us and key potential donors, but they also assisted us in shaping the content of both the presentations to potential partners and the subsequent concept note or proposal. Through their excellent stakeholder management skills, we were able to receive repeat funding from many of the donors which they facilitated engagement with and additionally, have been invited to collaborate with them in other spaces outside of the grant, thus solidifying these relationships. thinklink are also helping us currently to think through innovative financing models to bring greater sustainability to our organisation long term. We recommend working with thinklink, and they will surely make an instant, sustainable impact.
