Mechanical Inspector

• Complete Review of documents submitted by the main contractor including site verification for issuance Mechanical Completion Certificate (MCC). • Examined RFC (Ready for Commissioning) and RFSU (Ready for Start-up) Dossiers submitted by the contractor • Witnessed the start-up of all mechanical equipment performed by the Supplier/OEM • Attended and kept a track on the inspection request raised by the main contractor involving the testing and commissioning activities of HVAC Firefighting, and Plumbing with the corresponding Inspection Test plan (ITP) including motorized smoke and fire damper testing and Special systems (ANSUL systems, FM200 Fire Suppression systems) • Organized and issued punch list for each inspection attended • Communicated with the contractors, interpreted design and specifications • Led site observation surveys, preparing field reports on the status of the project, and updated job completion concerning the compliance of project plans, and specifications. • Participated in the meeting conducted by design consultant, site supervision consultant, and main contractor & provided suggestion in case of discrepancy. • Verified all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities implementations are in adherence to the approved health, safety, and environmental and quality procedures. • Observed the master punch list tracker, ensured comments are being complied and witnessed before handover. • Evaluated and signoff of final test packs for all mechanical and special systems submitted by the main contractor. • Sustained the documentation to the full proof of our activities including supporting documents & correspondence.

Commissioning Engineer
