  Was in charge of the successful virtual Legislative Education & Advocacy Day (LEAD) 2023 event. The event had over 400 attendees and included Massachusetts social workers, social work students, legislators, coalition members for various legislations, advocates etc. Wrote the features “Breaking Social Work Barriers and Taking the LEAD!” and “Member Spotlight: Frank Baskin” on Social Work Voice magazine, winter edition, 2022-2023. Worked extensively on social media content and communication. Engaged in direct advocacy work (meeting with legislators, attending the bill launch events and various coalition meetings, sending out the cosponsor letters, canvassing etc.) Researched about the priority bills of NASW-MA and prepared legislative action committee materials.
