      • Jul 2018 - Jul 2018

During 25th-26th July, I shadowed a junior QC during a high profile murder case at Manchester Crown Court. This experience has further exposed me to the working relationship between a barrister and solicitor. As the trial began on the day my mini pupillage did, I was able to see how a trial commences; how the prosecution and defence give their opening statements; how evidence is incorporated into their statements and how arguments are weighted between the parties.
