The humongous requirement of 39,000 MT of Structural Steel in Dhirubhai Ambani International Convention and Exhibition Centre project was catered by India's one of the leading Steel Contractor Eversendai. I worked as a Contracts Engineer with Eversendai in this magnificent project with multidisciplinary roles for a period of 38 months from the beginning of my career providing unmatchable learning experiences and best of the opportunities to work with finest and leading companies in their own expertise like RIL, Samsung C&T, Sterling, AHC, MERO, etc. My job responsibilities included:Post Contract Administration, Contract Interpretation and its strict adherence, Negotiations for Variation and Change Orders, Liason with Finance teams, Contractual Letter correspondences, Timely Preparation, Submission and Certification of bills, Budget and MIS report preparations, EOT and Final Account Assessments amongst the Commercial roles.Bulk Procurement assistance, Raw material and Fabrication follow-up with mills and Factories respectively, Logistics coordination, Reconciliation of Material, Preparation of Tentative Schedules for Variation orders, Management of Custom Clearances on CFR method, Client and Contractor review meetings amongst the General roles.
