Hands-on delivery of software applications on in-house demands mostly from investment and trading units. Design, develop, deploy, and maintain many desktop and web applications. Achievement Highlights: 1 Contributed a new technology stack to the team: ASP.NET Web API + AngularJS. - Did research, and prototypes to find next web application technology to use in replace of legacy Web Forms. Came up with ASP.NET Web API for the back-end, and Angular JS for the front-end. Introduced, and proposed the technology stack to the team. - Made clean and clear architecture by using web APIs handled separation of concerns. Decoupled back-end and front-end thus the presentation layer was completely separated from business logic layer. - Eased development, testing, and maintenance since each business logic is aligned in each Web API. - Increased productivity, shortened the development time, and delivered more by utilizing : - - AngularJS features e.g. two ways data binding feature, directives. - - .NET features e.g. LINQ for Functional Programming, and TASK for Asynchronous Programming. 2 Convinced the team to use WPF with MVVM for developing Investment Management Desktop Applications instead of legacy Windows Forms - Researched, prototyped and introduced the team how to use WPF to develop desktop applications. - Delivered richer user interface, and modern looking interactive GUI. - Reduced approximately 30% lines of code by applying MVVM pattern and utilizing WPF data binding feature. - Automated the business flow between fund managers and traders into the systems which had trillions yens under management.
