RA NSW is a not for profit organisation partly funded by federal, state and local governments. Achievements: • Worked closely with both internal and external stakeholders in preparing and presenting business models to enhance new opportunities. Turnover increased by over 99% from $11.1M to $22.0M • Implemented controls that reduced Debtor days from 96 to 33. • Project managed research, tendering and implementation of medium tiered accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics GP ensuring the project was completed on time and under budget. • Researched, tendered and implementation of payroll software, Meridian Micropay on time and within budget. • Instrumental in overseeing financial strategic changes which saw the merger of 4 entities into 1. Consolidated 4 separate Chart of Accounts whilst still ensuring separate cost centres and reporting. • Negotiated with various departments, unions and employees ensuring all entitlements were preserved whilst signing new employment agreements. • Significant reforms and controls were implemented by the state department which were adhered to by CMCT within 2 months within the required timeframe of 6 months. Then assisted the other 3 crown cemetery trusts to apply, and comply with reforms which were 3 months late • Prepared business cases which resulted in purchase of additional land area for CMCT to cater for communities (resulted in increasing sale of burial licences of over 25% in FY2015) • Assisted in new funding tenders and business plans which resulted in growth with turnover increasing by >200% and resulted in 60% increase in staff numbers. • Created new reports enabling managers to reduce client waiting time by 11% via better re-allocation of staff times which also resulted in higher productivity Show less
