  After becoming a full part of the development team as a working student, I took a leading role within the team and was considered a trusted voice by management regarding business development.Researched the most common problems in German small and medium-sized businesses and optimized existing products to best address some of their most pressing issues. Directed a project to increase the effectiveness of the company's online presence, including business development, Marketing efforts and employee training.Contributed to increasing customer awareness by striving to create compelling customer journey mappings. I also developed and implemented marketing plans to expand the customer base and increase customer awareness. This included creating compelling content for a variety of channels, including editorial posts, blogposts, Facebook, email, and the company's website.While the focus in my role gradually shifted away from web and software development per se, to business-heavy topics, I maintained knowledge of standards, technologies, and trends in software development using Python, JavaScript, and their language-specific frameworks.

  My work and support spanned various areas of the business - from web development to SAP BW to search engine optimization and workshop planning for the team. I also worked regularly with the team at the client site to identify business and project requirements.In the area of web development, was responsible for creating various front-end layouts, redesigns, and document templates for clients. In addition, I achieved a consistent visual theme across all websites by promoting uniform typography, images, and layouts. My responsibilities also included optimizing the source code and its structures, as well as the maintainability of web-based applications both internally and for clients. This included creating and maintaining XML schemas for regular database imports between client systems. At all times, I stayed up-to-date on new standards, technologies, and trends in website development.In the area of search engine optimization, I was tasked with on-page and off-page SEO consulting for audits of client and competitor websites. Furthermore, conducting keyword research and planning for the company's own website.In regards to SAP BW, I was part of the monitoring team and monitored customer systems and organized coordination between stakeholders and staff in case of disruptions.Other responsibilities included participating in meetings and discussions about the organization of the development team and its processes. Likewise, I prepared and conducted JavaScript workshops and other software methodology trainings for a team of 7 people.
