I had to present and explain possible issues concerning labelling, in-store promotional implementation, shipments and changing in the customer's… Show more For my end of study internship I had diverse responsibilities and missions, which are listed below: Preparation and presentation of the monthly team sales meeting: I was in charge, every month, of the presentation of all confirmed and planned promotional events in Carrefour, for the next 3 months to sales representatives. I had to present and explain possible issues concerning labelling, in-store promotional implementation, shipments and changing in the customer's assortment... Monthly sales analysis and evaluation of performance based on Nielsen data: I manage share of sales in value and volume evolution according promotions and actions performed during the previous month. This analysis is based on Nielsen data and company internal tracking resources. Thanks to this analysis we can define which promotions have had best impact and how competition performed. Creation of promotional plan for Carrefour and management of Colgate-Palmolive's assortment: For 2018, I created the promotional plan according to the national promotional plan. I would precise, that Belgium market is a particular market because the retailer Colryut always align its price with the cheapest competitor. Because of this particularity, it is a reflection exercise to decide which promotion to play which week. After setting down the plan I submitted it to my manager and we discussed about it to choose the best combination. This mission has enhanced my decision making ability. Preparation of sales manager appointments with buyers: Regularly, as Account Manager, appointments with buyers were planned. I managed the preparation of all technical documents with relevant information to present new products and assortment's change. I also, sometimes had to translate presentation pieces from Dutch to French. Finally, I had to include some elements or event which happened before to show and clarify them. This analysis aimed to compare supermarkets' personal care range by studying their fragrance, packaging, price... I have been in charge from the whole project. - Update product database and library: I was in charge for purchasing every innovation on the market through internet and ground. Everyday I had to check if we received new products, then enter them on the database, labelled them and stored them in the library. I set up a new organisation for the library. - Preparation of Marketing documents: I had to collect pictures related to the presented topic and create on Photoshop presentation template. Then, I added description and references of products presented. - Manage products testing: The company organized testing session, mainly about candles, I had to collect information through an Excel spreadsheet, analyzed the results and add relevant information at the project. - Participation on marketing projects (perfumes, candles, UK beauty market..): First step was information research on the internet and among specialized press.
