I work directly under the Executive Director and am gaining practical experience writing and editing press releases and communicating with press organizations to publish Ti-Alliance news and materials. I have also been writing, formatting, and editing newsletters to send out to current and potential donors and the Board of Directors. I am conducting diverse research for the Executive Director for tourism campaigns for the region and well as managing Ti-Alliance's co-working space, Ti-Works. I write and create all the copy and content for our social media, several weeks in advance, including a month-long Giving Tuesday campaign. Since starting, I have increased our Instagram followers by almost 15% and our Facebook followers by almost 12%, as well as seen an increase in engagement in our pages. I have also been working to find my replacement, creating all onboarding materials, and standardizing many of the tasks that I do for the next employee. I am personally handling her training and the hand-off of my duties to ensure there is no gap in our communications and social media presence after I leave. Show less
