As Project Manager, I fill a unique roll supporting the Seafood Alliance for Legality and Traceability (SALT) and FishWise Traceability Division. My work connects the efforts of the of SALT project - a global alliance to share seafood traceability knowledge – to those of the Traceability Division. With the Traceability Division, I work directly with retail partners to mitigate risks within supply chains to prevent illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) catch from entering the market. SALT supports the uptake of electronic catch documentation and traceability systems to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing practices. As a SALT Project Manager, I work to curate resources and share opportunities for collaboration and shared learning experiences to our global network of governments, seafood industry, and NGOs. Through sharing these successes, challenges, and opportunities, I work to connect the seafood community to promote coordinated, innovative seafood traceability solutions. SALT is a public-private partnership between USAID and the Walton Family, Packard, and Moore Foundations, and implemented by FishWise.

Worked at the Peterson Bay Field Station educating about intertidal and forest ecology. Organized and ran two summer camps for kids 9-11 years old (Jr. Naturalist Camp and Marine Mammal Camp). As a field station employee, I conducted trail maintenance, cleaned aquaria and touch tanks, collected animals for education, hiked daily, and prepared marine mammal bones for articulation. Participated in marine debris clean up and recorded biodiversity during negative low tides Worked at the Peterson Bay Field Station educating about intertidal and forest ecology.
