I was commissioned to art direct and design Dear Body, a project by Chats Palace in collaboration with Athletes of the Heart. We received funding from Arts Council England to create a digital installation inspired by the French literary form of the blason. We host mindfulness workshops to invite participants to reflect on their relationship to their bodies during the pandemic through artistic practice, and display their contributions on our website. I was hired as Research Assistant for the Centre of Arts, Memory and Communities (CAMC) and Centre for Postdigital Cultures (CPC) to design research portfolios, condensing complex information in a range of disciplines into documents using Adobe CC (Photoshop/InDesign). I designed the documents to be accessible and multi-functional, for use both digitally and in print. This was done remotely, with a focus on accessibility, to the university’s marketing style guide outlined. Due to the success of my completion of this task as well as my understanding of digital communications, I was asked to stay on as Communications Officer for CAMC, taking on the marketing and communications responsibilities for the Centre, including: publishing monthly e-newsletters, setting up Instagram and YouTube channels and maintaining the Twitter account. I assisted the CAPA Culture team on a four part television series named "Il Était Une Fois...", a 'retro-tainment' show that captures our nostalgia for the past. In each episode, a panel composed of representatives of four generations - X, Y, Z, and a Babyboomer - revisit a year in the youth of the special guest. I worked on three out of the four episodes, for the years 1987 with patissier Christophe Michalak, 1975 with singer and actress Marianne James, and 1999 with comedian Artus. My role included researching the private and professional lives of the panel guests to aid with scripting, sourcing vintage props particular to each year for use on the show and aiding with visual design by making moodboards for sets and costumes. The show was aired at prime time each Saturday night in September 2018 on France 4. Show less

I was selected as one of eight students from leading U.K. universities (Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, and Durham) as an in-house reviewer of the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We worked on a tight deadline with a quick turnover: had to see and review at least two shows daily, with our reviews being published that same day.
