Nina managed a multi-faceted, collaborative Women’s Health project focused on priority populations in the Mount Druitt area, including CALD and Aboriginal women. This involved: -Collaborating and maintaining effective working relationships with external stakeholders, including community organisations, General Practices, government agencies, WSLHD teams such as Multicultural Health and Population Health. -Initiating and coordinating the running of events and incentive programs to improve cervical screening awareness in the community. -Connecting with community members through engaging presentations and discussions, and producing clear and informative educational materials. -Ensuring sustainability of project by upskilling health workers such as the Multicultural health team, Bilingual Health Educators, midwives, Maternity Liasion Officers, and General Practice nurses. -Prioritising multiple project elements using effective time-management and problem-solving skills. -Continually collecting data and documenting the project using Access database, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word to understand the needs of the project and the target populations. -Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis and regular reporting on findings and outcomes for internal and external audiences.
