  This role involved the promotion of the magazine through the medium of social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook and StumbleUpon. In order to do this effectively, I searched for the popular topics of the day and post articles relevant to those topics. I was required to gather contact information for advertising companies in order to increase public awareness. I was also encouraged to think of innovative new ways to generate public interest such as, by contacting similar companies and creating partnerships whereby we both promote each other’s businesses.
