I am an accredited trainer at Scouterna and is giving courses in leadership (Leda Scouting) at least once a year. For the past three years I have been a Deputy Gilwell Course Leader at the highest adult leadership course within Scouterna, Treklöver Gilwell (or Wood Badge ). On these courses, I have held leadership lectures and been a personal coach for students. Each course lasts for almost a year so it’s very intense and educational. Love it! Systems architect / Senior System Developer (C#, XAML, AZURE)

Creating ePort, a SaaS solution, from scratch for MA-system Utbildning AB. ePort is a course administration system complete with errand handling and warehouse logic. Everything is written in C# and XAML with a backend on Azure where the Sql-Azure database resides and the Rest and WCF services are published. A fun project where a colleague and I designed and implemented everything from scratch. Database, services and the client. The visual look of the client was designed by a Red Dot awarded graphic designer. First time for me to have a real designer so deeply involved in a project. I can highly recommend it. At the moment, I am leading a team focused on app development (iOS, Android and UWP) with Xamarin Forms to add more mobile support to ePort. Maybe this is the way to go. .Net Standard, which is used to create Xamarin Forms solutions, promises to support every large operatingsystem to date. It would be great to only write your code once and then use it on every platform. So far I have only tried iOS and Android but its looking promising.

Senior System Developer (R & D)

A company dedicated to logistics. I worked at their R & D department concentrating on handheld solutions written in VB.Net and C# (Microsoft Certified Professional). They needed a handheld scanner (Windows CE) solution to perform various warehouse tasks. This project helped me be an even better programmer since the resources on a handheld device are scarce and you need to take that into account constantly... and still make a great application easy to use and nice to look at. I also created programs to monitor their flagship ASTROs (used by, for example IKEAs large distribution centrals) performance among other things.

Course Developer (VB.Net)
-
2002 - 2004
I Created and held a course in VB.Net (DA7140) 5 points (equivalent of 1/4 of as semester full time) together with a former colleague of mine from AdraSoft. We held the course three times during three years for about 100 students at a time before Malmö University was forced to cancel our contract. New directives prohibited them from hiring external resources (not employed by Malmö University, which we weren’t) to give courses on a regular basis. But it was great fun while it lasted and I got a solid base when it came to the .Net platform. You never learn so much as when you know you must teach others.

Tekla Solutions had a product portfolio much like Adrasoft but this time, instead of only managing software development, I started programming again in Visual Basic 6.0 and took an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) title after a couple of months. Me and four other former Adrasoft colleagues were situated at a small office in Malmö. After about a year we got more involved with the head office in Kuopio and started to program their backend, handling measurement data in C++ for a couple of years before they decided to close the office in Malmö. I found that I really liked programming and began with VB.Net during this period. This resulted in an offer to create a new VB.Net course at Malmö Högskola which I did together with another former colleague from Adrasoft.

AdraSoft AB (Adra Datasystem AB) made software solutions to the, at the time, newly deregulated energy business in Sweden. I started out at an educator of their CRM system (M-Sale) and a system designed to handle measurement data from the electric grid. (V-Store) Soon I became a project manager for integrations of our systems at Telge Energi, Umeå Energi, Ängelholms Energi and Kinnekulle Energi. I really enjoyed the interaction with the customer trying to solve all the details in delivering a CRM system. A few years in, I got to be product manager when a new customer care system was needed in the portfolio (C-Care) I led the development team and we managed to get the system out before the deadline. At the same time a new version of M-Sale was being developed. It was an important update that should be delivered to our biggest customers Vattenfall and Sydkraft (E.ON). But the projekt had hit the wall. Since I had done a good job with C-Care they gave the project to me. That became one of the most intence months of my life but we made it. I had a great team and we were so proud when the deadline came and we could say, its done!. As a reward I became product manager of M-Sale, one of our flagship products. After that I got the question if I would like to design and lead the development of a new direct marketing/telemarketing system (D-Market), which I did, and a year later a new system to handle supplier change between energy companies. (S-Change) I never got to see S-Change take off since AdraSoft went bankrupt and was bought by VM-Data, but I know it became the very first working supplier change system In Sweden 6 month later. Im proud of that and sad that a company I loved and worked so hard in didn't make it.
