  Design Engineer - Job Description: 1. Prepare HVAC Base Design Package in line with Client & other discipline requirements 2. Verify HVAC Design compliant with specific NZS/AS code requirements and client specifications 3. Heating & cooling load calculations by using various software like Carrier HAP, Temperzone, etc. 4. Prepare/review & submittal of shop drawings along with heating/cooling load calculations, external static loss calculations, Pump Head loss calculations, equipment schedule, etc. 5. RFI preparation against the design changeover/clarifications require at any stage of the Project 6. Complete project handover to the Project manager/Site Manager for smooth operation. 7. Provide excellent service and attention to Project/Site manager’s queries 8. Preparation of HVAC (Design, Coordination, Shop & As-Built) Drawings for vast scale Projects 9. Prepare and maintain the Project tender list from the Tender portal or individual price requests from the Builder 3. Accomplished equipment selections and identified alternative equipment to ensure projects were cost efficient and met the specifications. 4. Represented Apex Air while attending pre-let meetings and value engineering meetings to comply with the projects. 5. Prepare and submit the technical submission to the Client/Builder/Consultant for their approval 6. Negotiated and purchased materials from suppliers, prepare/maintain the purchase orders in adherence with the project scope. 7.
