  I started my PhD studies in 15 Sept 2013 (my supervisor is Dr. Katalin Balázsi) supported by the Young Research Fellowship of Hungarian Academy of Sciences (FIKU). The aim of my researches was the development of the titanium carbide and amorphous carbon thin films as a suitable surface coating for medical applications. My tasks were the TiC based nanocomposites deposition by DC magnetron sputtering system, the electron microscopic examinations of the growth mechanism, determination of the link between the established structure and the biological properties, and the sample preparation to the TEM examinations as well.
