I was fortunate enough to have Nik as my PD my second year as a corps member with Teach for America and it was truly a pleasure. Nik gave me the tools and insight I needed in order to get the most out of myself and my students. It was an incredible year that I don't believe would have happened without his help. I truly appreciate everything he did for me (and I am sure this sentiment is echoed by his other corps members).

Nick probably has the most professional, astute, consistently driven and positive personality I have ever witnessed in any workplace environment. Even though Nick and I haven't connected in almost a decade, I can say with confidence that this man has the background, tested humanity, and unshakably even temperament needed to help improve education in the US. I'm convinced that if Nick worked at ED, our kids would be smarter.
