  Being part since the early stages of this startup company resulted in working on tasks of all the stages, features and natures of the project. Those tasks included designing and creating the features to a new web application based on an older version that was written on custom PHP, while maintaining the latter. Some of those features were executing transactions with bank cards, running contests and campaigns for companies based on user data, providing statistical analysis (clientele - transactions), product shipping, gift redemption, company collaboration etc. Most of these features were also developed in Node.js, exposing API endpoints to utilize on the mobile applications. Maintaining and expanding the front-end on the web app was also within my responsibilities. There was also a need for database migration from MariaDB to Postgres which was one of my main tasks during the transition along with the API development and its documentation.

  As a member of the research department in AKKA technologies, I was leading a team working on a social economy project that combines mobile/Windows application, Blockchain and Machine Learning with REST API. We used Agile-Scrum methodology and my tasks as a team leader/scrum master included being responsible for presentations, distributing tasks to my teammates and reporting to the business manager about the performance along with the future steps and deadlines or any possible issues and absences. As a developer I designed and created the blockchain system in Java with MongoDB (NoSQL), I worked on the application (Java, React Native) and API (JavaScript, Node.js) development when it was necessary and I also on some simple Python scripts needed for the Machine Learning.

  At Innovation I was recruited as a web developer and my skills in programming were utilized. The company owned websites that provide services mainly in entertainment field, mostly on Laravel and some of them on WordPress. As a developer, my responsibilities included both front-end and back-end MVC development of websites while also testing, troubleshooting and improving them. Under the managers supervision, I created responsive user interfaces by using Bootstrap, certain scripts for the websites’ databases automatic update via API and also installed the SSl certificates. My duties also included all the necessary actions that needed to be taken on the server via WHM or SSH and the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the websites I was responsible for.
