As the owner of monitoring services for IT Infrastructure for APAC data centres, I was appointed with the remit to manage, align and optimise IT Service Operations Processes. I was the product champion to plan and roll-out CMDB (BMC Remedy) for whole servers in APAC data centres to create accurate hardware and software inventory. Besides, I successfully led a team of 4 to consolidate various monitoring tools into Microsoft System Center 2012 to save 30% of OPEX. Also, we developed an operational dashboard with .NET for incident prioritization to improve efficiency up to 90% and successfully analyse and reduce the total volume of alerts by 40% to optimise 24/7 service operations.
