Project Co-ordinator
-
Mar 2001 - Jul 2004
I began volunteering at SASS in 2001 having seen the good work they were doing with young people in the community. By the end of the year I was fully employed by the organisation and working as an Administrative Assistant. Having gained knowledge of how such organisation operated I began writing grant applications for a variety of projects and secured up to 20000 for one. Before I left the organistaion to concentrate on my studies in 2004 I had run a number of projects including co-ordinating and managing my own projects such as the Young Mothers Group and a Music and Media Work Experience project for year 10 students across Southwark.
