  My role consisted of recruiting and training new staff, holding weekly sales meetings, attending managers meetings, drawing up rotas, monitoring sales performance as both a team and individuals, as well as hitting my individual sales and activity targets for the Month, holding weekly refresher training sessions for continual improvement, carrying out sales audits, visiting corporates and contra deals to drum up new business, marketing, carrying out appraisals etc.. but most importantly, driving my team forward to hit target each Month. My individual sales activity consisted of; warm calling prospects, cancelled/ expired members etc... gaining new leads by going out into the community, attending events, visiting corporates, gaining referrals from new and existing members, promotional drops, and holding open days. I have been based at two sites since joining DC, of which both have been very successful. For example, the site I joined originally had missed target for the past 7 Months, then In July we hit 126% of target, September 108%, and since moving sites, my new site hit 114% in October, 117 % in November, 104%in December, and In January we hit 148% of our Monthly target which moved the site up to Number two in the company. With it being one of the smallest sites in DC, and with it never being a front runner site, it was a massive achievement.
