  Isn’t it cumbersome to keep track of one’s personal finances? What a security scare can it be to maintain financial information in a personal diary and risk losing it? How many instances have you heard where family members are totally oblivious to each other’s financial investment information? I’m sure these questions must have rung a bell of familiarity in your head. They did the same in ours too, inspiring me and other Co-founders to conceptualize Mowize, a Personal Finance Management System designed as a cloud based fin-tech platform available on Web, iOS and Android platforms, with the sole purpose of helping individuals organize, track, share, and take informed financial decisions in a fast paced digital world. I also undertook product development involving facilitation of UX and UI as well as contributed towards building logic for the back end code of the tool.   Vatika Limited is one of the largest and reputed Real Estate developers in northern India with developments in commercial, retail, education, and hospitality sector. In this role, I was accountable for the implementation of the annual financial plan and real time monitoring of the same. The plan included Sales & Collection projection, P&L, Cash Accrual, BS and Business Valuation report on a bi-annual basis to facilitate investment and financing decisions of the senior management. The BS report formed the basis of preparation of the annual budgeting plan and the Business Value sheet provided support to the top management for demerger of Real Estate and Hospitality business. Some of my key contributions were as follows: • Received the most ‘Promising Professional’ award at Vatika for 3 consecutive years (2011-2014) • Facilitated an equity deal worth INR 150 crore with GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation), accredited as one of the biggest Sovereign Funds in the world with an AUM of more than USD 800 billion. • Structured and ensured realization of asset sale worth INR 750 crore with the support of senior management. This included settlement of collaborators entitled for stock worth INR 500 crore. • Managed one of the financial institutions which had project based exposure of around INR 250 crore. Formulated profitability and cash flow matrix which helped management to take key strategic decisions by monitoring the profitability of each project. Show less
