  In this 11 days of VT, we got an exposure of the different plants in DSP viz., RMHP, Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace, SMS & CCP, W&A Plant, Merchant Mill, MSM, CEM. From this, we got to know how the raw materials are processed prior to charging in the blast furnace, how the steel billets ans bars are made and how these are converted into the wheel and axle, joists, angles, TMT bars. The finished products are made to go through various testing methods before the lot is sent for sale. We also got to see various machineries like the wagon tippler, stacker-reclaimer, hydraulic press machine, CNC machines etc. Show less
