  Being a Manager and Host for a facility that provides care and support for senior citizens, I was responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for improving the mental and physical health of senior citizens covering the assessment of key issues faced by the elderly, development of activities for Dementia/Alzheimer patients, design of social activities that promote and improve social interaction, and online research on Senior Citizen Day Time centers. In addition, I also conducted planning, coordination, and hosting of numerous social events. Significant accomplishments include: • Provided valuable assistance in conducting free hand exercise, yoga, and meditation sessions, as well as in facilitating arts and crafts and cognitive activities that help improve fine motor skills, and cognitive and mental health of senior citizen members. • Improved the physical health of members by 25%, and mental health by 45% as measured by qualitative assessment. • Enhanced quality of social relationships by 75%.

Additionally, I also established a community FAQ by simplifying a physician’s FAQ for the PEHSU (Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit).
