Nik and I worked together on the Future Combat System (FCS) Reliability Investment Program (RIP). Nik was chartered with learning the Reliability Discipline through executing Reliability Enhancement Testing and the Failure and Corrective Actions that resulted from this testing. Through these efforts, Nik proved not only to be technically competent, but also adept at coordinating with stakeholders ranging from design engineering to Program Management. On numerous occasions, Nik supported extended work hours, while balancing Graduate School, to meet Program Commitments. Nik is a personable, bright, and hard working engineer who I would recommend to any engineering organization.
Linda Lack Zentner
Nikolaus joined us as an intern and his work was excellent. It was quite amazing how much value he added. He learned the large armament hammer and mission equipment vibration table equipment quickly and became the recognized expert on the LAH, a multimillion dollar piece of custom equipment. Nik quickly became a resource, treated as an equal by a large group of more experienced engineers. He is knowledgable of the product, a 23,000 pound weapon system mission module composed of ammunition handling equipment and a large caliber cannon, and knows how to work with little or no direction. I would recommend Nik for any position. He is a hard worker who takes personal responsibility for his team and puts out high quality work! This young man has a great future ahead of him!
