Documents and oral translations and I was part of the day shift team in conducting the daily evaluation trained tasks (about 40 tasks) for the Iraqi Air Force located in the base (Flight Line, Towers, Quick Reaction Forces and All ECPs in the base). Maintained a fine relationship with the Iraqi Air Force battalion at all levels, which helped to keep clear channel of communication to achieve the great principal ONE TEAM ONE FIGHT. Abrams Instructor Assistant and Translator-Fire Control System
-
Sep 2011 - May 2016
My role was to do documental and verbal translations, I started in this training program from basic learning to get familiarized with the battle tank M1A1SA parts, terms and functions, after a few months I was moved up to a higher-level section within the training and maintenance of the tank in fire control sections\the D.S.E.S.T.S "Direct Support Electrical Test Set" and became an instructor assistant giving lectures to the 9th Division soldiers of the Iraqi army and E.M.E (Iraqi Electrical and Mechanical Engineers). Fire Control Instructor Assistant; while as an instructor assistant, my task was to receive the information from the instructor and translate it into a written manner and interpret it to the students at the same time. I was directly involved in setting up the courses taught from its’ introduction throughout each level of advancement of the course which included translating all terms, names of components and procedures for troubleshooting and repair of the fire control systems with in the M1A1 SA battle tank from English to Arabic in a comprehensive manner for the Iraqi Army Soldiers. My role in building and conducting these courses led to the success of more than %90 average score for each class taught. After 2014 accident with ISIS taking over one third of Iraq, the ISF started opening war against terror and lost almost all the M1A1SA battle tank ninth division tanks, so GDLS/NFC pushed things around to start maintenance to dozens of terror damaged tanks, so I was an essential team player at the capacity of DSESTS operator for two years at Almuthana Air Base in Baghdad.
