My recommendation follows a stint of great work at GE Power, my role was that of a recruiter for the customer and Nigel came as the perfect person to manage the projects. The main challenge was the variety of skills required for one role. We needed somebody as capable in business stakeholder management as in technical project management. I brought Nigel in to BXXFT initially to work with our Managing Director; to create and coach the ability to 'deep dive' into the details of the business. This also included creating a sales and marketing strategy for BXXFT. Very quickly into the process, Nigel became a trusted advisor, friend and confident to the owners. He brought candour and charm in equal measure and is a delight to work with. As with any great hire, the 'fit' is so much more important than industry-specific knowledge - we were lucky to find someone with Nigel’s level of transferable skills.
