FTC Team SPACE is a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team from the NewmanCollege in Breda, the Netherlands. FTC is a robotics competition where you design, build an program your own robot which has to accomplish a variety of tasks to score the most points during a match. Besides building a robot you also plan outreach events to inspire young people. As a software engineer I focussed on translating ideas and systems to code in a way that the robot could drive autonomous as well as driver controlled. As a member of Team SPACE I have been to the world finals twice. In 2019, we became the Dutch champion by winning both the Inspire Award and the Winning Alliance Captain Award. Show less
