      We were a group who operated undercover identifying online sexual predators who targeted children in chatrooms. Our scope was solely to get them banned from specific chatrooms we guarded. The work consisted of engaging with people who messaged us, and assessing whether they were predators, both from what they said and with software that could (legally) identify their location and other online activity. I spent 6-12 hours per day doing this and eventually stopped because those who do it too long… We were a group who operated undercover identifying online sexual predators who targeted children in chatrooms. Our group's crowning glory was when we located a predator chatting from an internet cafe in the same town as our then-leader, who sent the sheriff in to arrest him in mid-chat. Show more Show less
