  Responsible for the Country Park operation, part of the Duke of Wellington's Estate. The Country Park has 350 acres in total and is open from February to November. Attractions on offer include several children's play areas, miniature railway, picnic areas, nature trails, animal farm, fishing syndicate, catering and a retail operation. As part of the country park, there is also an 87 pitch touring camping and caravan site. Total Responsibility for:- - All financial management including forecasting, budgetting, reporting, cash flow analysis, expenditure and P & L - Sales development including marketing, advertising, promotions, identification and development of new and existing revenue lines - Improvement of customer relations which include the development/Improvement of website, introduction and development of other social media avenues, ties with local services and businesses, more interactive onsite communication - Capital investment including strategic planning of new investment, development of existing facilities, general maintenance, upkeep, planned and emergency repair - HR including staff recruitment, training, development, team building and changes to management structure The result has been that in the last 3 years, we have had an increase of over 30% in visitor numbers and 80% increase in revenue.
