Nigel was one of the coolest leader in entire USGSM team, very approachable , hugely popular and very efficient at what he does. His technical expertise and cool nature helped team through difficult situations.

I worked with Nigel at SRT when we had the task of trying to bring a complex TETRA radio project to fruition in a limited time. Nigel showed he would analyse a difficult and complex software problem and follow it through to completion even when the requirements were still fluid. He was also willing to support the activities of customers even when this meant travel to Asia with consequent disruption to his personal life.

eNB and relay manager on an LTE network.Security configurations for TCP/IP networking and DHCP/NAS management of APN multiple APN configurations.I was responsible for designing a suitable interface management system for handling data with differing security levels and configuring the required routing algorithms for each data stream. This involved managing features such as MAC Matching, IPSec, iptables with NAT and SNMP implementations to ensure only the data from the desired source and destination are matched together.I also supported work on the USIM AND USAT for an NB-IoT solution.Code embedded C, Linux shell scripting and AT commands.

Android Developer:Security analysis Kies Air:My initial task at Samsung was to support their Kies Air product. An analysis was performed on security weaknesses and reported to the Samsung security team.User interface development:I was part of a team developing an Android Home Screen application using OpenGL extensions.I worked on the application level in Java and native side, (C++), Font configuration, 3D modelling, graphics/bitmaps processing and streaming. A great deal of life-cycle handling events/debugging was also required for the above tasks. Testing was done on Jenkins unit test environment. The last task was optimisations, my current achievements in this area are in the reduction of jitters and increase of response of call-backs to Java to at least 1/10 and up to 1/100 of the original time.Development environment: Ubuntu, Jenkins, Git with Perforce, XML with inflator, Android Java, C++ with JNI support using STL and Boost libraries, (some Perl, bash and awk).
