Bio
Simon Skinner
In the years I've known Nigel; of which there are now many, I have never known him to be anything other than incredibly professional, talented to a fault and with an excellent reputation and respect that is regarded across the imaging sector. His deep knowledge and passion for the industry are hard to match, with a personal and work ethic that is rare in any walk of life. His support and advice to me over the years have been both selfless and valuable. Any company would be lucky to have Nigel on their team.

Nigel is a rare gem. Although I have not known him long he is one of those people you feel like you have known for ages. In his position as editor or Ap Magazine he has reached out to under represented photographers like myself to highlight our expertise, which traditionally in so many photography magazines, they have been lacking. As a black female photographer being in an industry that constantly overlooks me , Nigel is one of the people that did not do this, but has worked hard to diversify the magazine contributors, content and subsequent awards, with talented overlooked creatives. I know I and many others like me are thankful for his efforts and work around this, as well as him just being a general nice guy. As I said at the beginning a rare gem 💎
