I had the pleasure to work with Niek during multiple editions of the Angels of Light gala. His preciseness, hands-on mentality and reliability make him a highly skilled F&B manager. The way Niek takes care of his team is inspiring; he knows how to motivate his coworkers, has great social skills, and is a confident and natural leader. His enthusiasm and passion for hospitality are great ingredients for organizing big events. When doing this, Niek is not afraid to think ‘out of the box’, while still keeping a strong and clear vision on the main goals. I have nothing but positive memories of our time working together.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Niek for 1.5 years at Ramada Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Niek his dedication, personality and enthusiasm at work are a big part of my great memories at Ramada. Niek always puts his heart into his work, which is clearly feasible in everything he does. Whether it concerns implementing new ideas, new processes, new products or the constant care about his team and other colleagues. He always has the interest of the company at heart.       Responsible for the operational part of events up to 2000 guests within the hotel on a 5 star level. This includes staff planning, manage the staff up to about 100 staff members. Contact with the guest before guest arrival, during the event and after. Coordinating and collaboration with all the other internal departments as with external relations such as labour companies and suppliers of our hotel. Also the financial results are one of the responsibilities in my current job. The last 2,5 years the NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky is under construction, and we didn’t close during this renovation. Unless the renovation works our hotel and my department has been rewarded with the title Best Meeting Award 2015, catagorie Large. Show less
