In 2018 I joined Nicolo at the CfC St. Moritz (Crypto Finance Conference) as his CMO, where we worked together in a small team to organise the next conference in the US as well as two more conferences Switzerland. Nicolo is incredibly well organised and has a very structured approach to his work. His work ethic is truly outstanding. There is no deadline he would ever miss and no loose ends he wouldn't follow up on. His attention to detail is something I have rarely seen in anyone else and he also maintains that under pressure. Preparing the events as well as during the conferences, I have been continuously impressed by his ability to always stay calm, relaxed and friendly with everyone and how he always approaches every challenge with a rational and problem-solving attitude. What I always found very empowering, is how he truly trusts the people in his team and around him to do their jobs, takes all opinions seriously and always treats everybody with the utmost respect. This makes it a true pleasure to work with him (and learn from him). Since early 2018 he truly turned into the face and personality of the CfC St. Moritz because he's not only an innovative, creative and professional leader and thinker, but also a natural and charming host. Guests as well as speakers love to return to the conference because he makes it a special and unique experience for them by creating that welcoming ambiance where all participants feel like part of a circle of friends. Playing into all this is also his ability to recognize great ideas and get creative himself when coming up with new event concepts with conference partners. The hotel kitchen party he organised during the 2020 conference is already legendary, as well as the fondue night on a mountain peak. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next for the lucky conference guests. Nicolo is the kind of colleague and boss I would work with and for again anytime.
