Nicole is an all-around exceptional people leader who can attract, retain, and grow the best darn design talent and teams at a global scale. I had the pleasure of working with Nicole at both Northwestern Mutual and VistaPrint. Most recently at Vista, she was invaluable in recruiting, onboarding, career pathing and development, reviews and goals setting, design critique, documentation, team meetings, design community and activations. We grew from 20 to 70 designers in two years, and integrated two acquired teams. That’s no easy feat, and she was the glue that held our design team culture together. She’s a laid-back, authentic, and kind person who easily became the confidante of everyone on the team from the intern to the senior leaders. This uniquely positioned her to always know what the teams needs to be thrive. She then has the expertise and executional skills to implement any new tool or program that is needed. Whether you’re looking for a design recruiter specialist, or more of a people ops generalist you’d be lucky to have Nicole running the show.
