It's not a frequent thing that I get the idea to write a recommendation on LinkedIn. I've maybe written 4 or 5 in total? But Nicole, and this thing she does...awesome. What she has managed to do, has become a case study in my world. And it's being shared way outside Nicole's scope and market. Nicole has been charged with generating interested leads to fill entry level positions. Everyone knows, in 2018 and 2019, the employment market has been fierce. Their lead generation had slowed to a trickle. Traditional advertising was working as well as traditional advertising typically works - very poorly. Nicole's idea was to use Google Pay Per Click and be present at the top of the search results page, when someone searches 'jobs near me'. We expanded that idea to include a lot of relevant search phrases. And I hesitate to share this because no one else is doing it! Why not? I no idea. As simple and obvious as it sounds, she was the first. She back filled the PayPerClick campaign with a very targeted display campaign (she's also a graphic artist, so she was able to create all the custom ad sets herself). I only work with one company in any particular vertical, so locally...I haven't taken this anywhere else. It's a great case study though. And I'm sure it will become an industry-standard. From leads-slowing-to-a-trickle, to (now...Dec 2019) averaging 100 very-qualified and immediately-interested leads every month...that's what she accomplished. Smart lady. Out of the box thinker. Unique set of skills that includes marketing, graphic arts, video production, Illustrator and Photoshop, and more. She's impressive. On every level.
