Director of Member Relations

Dec 2015 - Apr 2023
As Director of Member Relations at ECFA, I led the new member acquisition and accreditation program. This included creating and carrying out an annual recruitment strategy, developing innovative tools and programs to generate new leads and retain current members, and speaking at events and conferences on finance, board governance and fundraising topics. Once an organization applied for ECFA accreditation, I led the team that assessed the nonprofit's compliance with our standards for accreditation. I also worked alongside the compliance team to ensure continued compliance was maintained by accredited members. Additionally, I oversaw the finances for ECFA which included oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting for the president and board of directors, annual budget creation, maintaining banking relationships, and working with auditors on the annual financial statement audit. Managed contracts for auxiliary services across CSU campus which included catering and dining operations, campus bookstore, vending services and campus hotel. Additionally, I served as purchaser for the college where I reviewed all purchase orders and conducted requests for purchase of services and contracts. In my time as purchaser I oversaw the RFP process for the University’s P-card program, two building programs, and the investment broker services contract.
