  At this position, I perform more job responsibilities than a typical rehabilitation technician. I am also a DME coordinator that coordinates the delivery of durable medical equipment (beds, stair glides, cushions, etc.) with families, other departments, and vendors for over 300 geriatric participants. I place the orders, check for updates, inform the team with any problems that arise, and assure the items are delivered. I track our inventory at three storage locations and keep up with keeping equipment in stock. I also track down the most cost friendly vendors and set up new vendors with my supervisors assistance. While I perform these tasks on a daily basis, I also help fix wheelchairs and other DME in our LIFE center. I also run an omnicycle program daily that is a maintenance exercise program. Show less
