  Manage and assign all news content gathering operations with news field crew during their assigned shift. Scout daily, weekly, and monthly stories using local contacts, co-workers, digital media, and area emergency scanners. Produce and update time sensitive KQ2 news content across our digital platforms, including but not limited to websites, apps, and social media. Work collaboratively with others in the newsroom to create cross-platform content, including web, social, audio, broadcast, streaming and video. React and share BREAKING NEWS to the KQ2 digital platforms and social media sites. Accuracy and immediacy are a must. Monitor provided metrics to identify digital content priority and positioning to maximize effectiveness. Proofread content written by others to ensure clear and effective communication on digital platforms.
