Discharge starts at Admission. I am here to assist in discharge for all residents coming into treatment. Residents must be prepared to venture out into the world from a treatment stay knowing that they will be safe with an outlined plan of action, knowing all available resources as far as Out Patient treatment, Sober Living and on going therapy. It is my job here at Willow Tree Recovery to make sure that this happens. I also have the responsibility to keep up on all resident and employee files as well as doing outreach for Willow Tree. I was a resident at Papilion House for the first year of my sobriety. Not only have I worked through the program hands on for myself but I now have the opportunity to give back to the many deserving women out there that want to experience a different kind of life. I oversee all the needs of every women that comes into Papilion House as far as appointments, community referrals, helping them find mandatory sponsorship, reunification with family and children, sober coaching with recovery goals. I teach life skills and how to integrate into a new sober community. It is my goal to help the women in the house to establish themselves financially, emotionally and physically, so they may learn to have a new life in sobriety. Show less

I would set up all discharges discharging from Nexstep to ongoing inpatient treatment. I would type up all discharge summary paperwork, set up transportation, help and refer, clients to an appropriate treatment center that would fit their needs and keep communication with all contacts and family members of clients. I was also involved in the addmission process. I would take down all information and drug history and discuss my information with Doctor's and Medical Directors. I would call families, set up financial payment upon the arrival of clients. Show less
