Operations Coordinator
-
Sep 2021 - Present
Acting in the central hub of a residential construction company, my role has many facets. I have assisted with the sales pipeline, from intake to estimate (and where needed assisted with proposals for value engineering); project and labor mapping; and in field management of subcontractors. Administrative duties include, development of quality control procedures culminating in a ‘Phase x Phase’ construction document with SOPs targeting performance and quality. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Architects, and homeowners to simplify pre-construction phases and project closeout. As the Site Supervisor for a high touch condo remodel in downtown Seattle, I have acted as a combination of Assistant Project Manager (monitoring progress, budget, and hosting weekly client meeting) and Lead Carpenter (laying out subs and carpenters, ensuring work is executed as designed, and assisting with my carpentry skills when needed). Accounts Project Manager
-
Aug 2018 - Jun 2021
As the Project Manager for named accounts, I was responsible for carefully coordinating logistics for museum quality art and navigating the delicate dynamics of my one-percenter clients. Additionally, due to my “calm under pressure” demeanor, I was the Project Manager selected to coordinate high risk or complex projects for my company, including installing a 10 ton sculpture in the middle of a courtyard. Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to carefully manage scope, resources, and monitor safety protocols. Identified and mitigated risks with careful planning and managed RFIs. As a trusted team leader, supported efforts of the Seattle Art Fair and was requested to coordinate out of state projects for select clients. With an eye toward detail, wrote contracts, developed, wrote and submitted commercial documents including estimates, proposals, and invoices in compliance with service contracts. As an administrator, tracked and submitted documents to comply with LNI’s Prevailing Wage requirements. Show less

Working closely with a small team, my primary responsibility was to ensure the safe packing, movement, storage, and transportation of objects entrusted to the gallery. Carefully coordinated local, domestic, and international logistics to support an ambitious gallery program of eight exhibitions, three domestic and two international art fairs annually. Reviewed and prepared loan forms, consignment agreements, contracts and shipping documents. As Gallery Manager, oversaw the day-to-day operations and supervised a team of 2 interns, 1 part time employee, and 2-5 freelancers. Fostered relationships with VIP clients and the vibrant local arts community by hosting and participating in events. Executed all special requests and legal requirements with a focus on accuracy and safety. Maintained a detailed database of 20,000+ artworks and orchestrated an annual inventory at the gallery and an offsite facility. Meticulously inventoried 3 artist estates, totaling 10,000+ objects. Was promoted from Archivist to Registrar after demonstrating an aptitude for precision and developed methods to further improve database accuracy and functionality for a rapidly expanding inventory. Simultaneously served as Registrar and Gallery Manager and in that role oversaw the seamless day-to-day operations of a busy commercial art gallery. Supervised a team of interns, part time employees, and freelancers. Show less
