When our apartment/townhouse complex was purchased by a new company, Nicole became our new property manager. In 22 years as a tenant here, we've had a lot of property managers for comparison. Nicole has been unusual in her friendliness, openness and engagement. She always encourages neighbors to drop-in any time, and it quickly become obvious that she meant it. I've truly felt welcome to build an actual two-way relationship with her, and therefore the management company. That's not often been the case with other property managers, who either weren't in all of the time, or made it obvious that they weren't motivated to to help tenants with concerns (or ideas). Transferring to a new owner is always worrying. It reflects well on Shamco that they gave us such a fresh, high-energy property manager. She really allayed our fears with her constant positivity. I see her often when she's walking prospective tenants around the complex. I can hear her explaining everything is a human, friendly, yet very professional way. Nicole is pretty much exactly what an owner would want to project as their public face, and exactly what a tenant would want in a property manager. Win-win. I'm sure she'll be a valuable asset to any company she works for.
