All Shifts were done alone, as well as all shirlft duties, as the properties did not have an active manager at the time. I gained immeasurably valuable multitasking skills and well as quick thinking in order to problem solve and emotional intelligence from being FDA, housekeeping, GM, HR and concierge all at once while maintaining a 4.8* rating on all review platforms. Duties & Responsibilities • Preparing and cooking simple breakfast (if night shift). • Completing check-in and check-out procedures accurately and timeously. • Closing folios and organizing schedules for staff shift. • Calling guests who gave low reviews on third party sites and determining trends and issues • Basic housekeeping. I began working for Advanced care as a recruiter and after around 3 weeks I was promoted to Account manager! The faith that the CEO had in me and the confidence i was rewarded was invaluable. Unfortunately after two months of working for Advanced Care, I had some personal matters that caused me to have to quit. I was grateful to learn about the relationship building needs as well as multitasking skills that were required for the job. I was able to manage several accounts as well as keep a positive demeanor, regardless of the plethora of rejection and voicemails. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of trying to mix my bubbly personality into an extremely professional environment successfully. Show less

    • English Language Teacher- Online
      • Jan 2016 - Jan 2017

After a specialized language teaching and training course, mandatory to attend before beginning, the job was 15 minute phone calls which were autonomous in planning. Basic grammar was always covered but the lessons were mostly geared towards improving conversational and representational English for working professionals. Teachers were to pick interesting topics, articles etc and use tact and teaching skills to guide and help the student. All students had a random teacher for every new lesson but by the time I had left this job I had more than a dozen students who requested just me. It was very humbling to realize that I was able to teach as well as entertain. I found the job extremely rewarding and I learned a broad spectrum of ideas from different kinds of people from many kinds of topics. Show less
