Supported the Benefits Manager and VP of People with delivering optimal service to DSC’s internal and external client base. During my tenure, I was responsible for conducting new employee on-boarding as well as managing and conducting the new employee Orientation program. I collected and in-processed employee data and compliance paperwork, conducted background investigations and managed eVerify. I worked closely with DSC’s Benefits Manager to assist with Benefits Administration and multiple open enrollment periods. I was responsible for maintaining and updating data in DSC’s HRIS, created and maintained files in accordance with requirements, and administered the Company’s PTO system. I provided HR support to all employees providing the highest level of customer service and pride myself on answering employee inquiries in a timely fashion. I supported and assisted in the planning of Company events and planned DSC’s Health Fair in 2014 with little supervision from management. I worked closely with the Accounting Team to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll records which included monthly audits of benefits as well as invoices. I handled employee relations issues when needed and conducted exit interviews. I also worked with upper management on special projects when called upon and was often responsible for updating job descriptions as well as company policies and the Employee Handbook. I worked with a small team to manage, create and send Total Compensation Statements to staff. I helped to streamline our internal processes behind the scenes by creating checklists and process documents for the HR team. Experience with EEO-1 & VETS reporting.
